Butterfly Challenge

The Holocaust Museum in Houston have put out a call for 1.5 million butterflies. They are asking crafters, schools etc to make the butterflies and send them into them by 2011 so that they can be put on display in 2012 to remember the 1.5 million children that were killed in the Holocaust. They can be any size upto 8" x 10". They ask that they DO NOT have food eg pasta, rice on them and also no glitter.

I would like to say thank you to Kerry for my lovely award. I was totally surprised when I logged on here today to find I had received my first one. I enjoy visiting Kerrys blog (Angels Crafty Creativity, click on the link in blogs I visit) as she has so many lovely cards and I get a lot of inspiration from her creations

Penny Black Saturday challenge

This week the challenge is called "Bump in the night". As you might have guessed it's Halloween.. I don't have any Halloween stamps so I stamped an Easter wishes one, cut out the rabbit and sat him on a pumpkin instead of his Easter egg. I hope this is allowed for the challenge as after weeks of looking in at everyone elses creations I have been brave enough to put one up to show them.

The cobwebs and words are also PB stamps. I have layered the white card onto orange and black card before placing it on an Orange square card.

They are also looking for people to join the team of designers as Jovi is leaving. I'm not sure my card is up to the standards required but I would love to put it forward (DT)
