Butterfly Challenge
The Holocaust Museum in Houston have put out a call for 1.5 million butterflies. They are asking crafters, schools etc to make the butterflies and send them into them by 2011 so that they can be put on display in 2012 to remember the 1.5 million children that were killed in the Holocaust. They can be any size upto 8" x 10". They ask that they DO NOT have food eg pasta, rice on them and also no glitter.
Here's a link for further details and the address to send the butterflies to when you have made them

Cards for Great Ormond Street Hospital
Hi. Today I was reading through the posts on Cardmaking and Papercraft forum when I saw this.
Could you make a card for a child in Great Ormond Street hospital to give to a loved one that visits them or to one of the nurses.
If the link here doesn't work either copy and paste the details or click on Yours Truly under blogs I visit and that will take you there. You will then need to scroll down to 1st November for the details
I'm sure I can make some cards so how about you too???

Thank you Kerry
I would like to say thank you to Kerry for my lovely award. I was totally surprised when I logged on here today to find I had received my first one. I enjoy visiting Kerrys blog (Angels Crafty Creativity, click on the link in blogs I visit) as she has so many lovely cards and I get a lot of inspiration from her creations
